PRACTICAL & ELEGANT.

The bathroom in this new home was modern and functional but lacked character and individuality. Keen to help her parents create a bathroom which could be both practical and elegant, property enthusiast Shrez set about creating a spa-style, luxury space with a stylish showering area at its heart.

Explained Shrez: “My parents had done so much to help us since we moved into our second renovation project, so I wanted to create a stunning bathroom for them as a thank you.”

“They live in a beautiful, new-build home, but as with many modern properties, the bathroom was lacking in personality.”

To create a space which catered to their needs and add a touch of luxury, Shrez set about ridding the home of its traditional white bathroom suite and finding some focal points for the space which blended natural materials with modern touches.



 

BESPOKE DESIGN WITH EXCEPTIONAL QUALITY.

A larger than average shower space was important and when Shrez saw the new range of Sealskin duka enclosures, she knew they would work well against the backdrop of rustic tiles and large freestanding tub that she was specifying for the bathroom space.

The sleek and contemporary design of the acqua 5000 enclosure, boasts precision engineering, and exceptional quality. Available as a bespoke design with a range of colour, glass and detailing options, Shrez was able to select the right finish and colour for her project. Once exact measurements were provided and the order was placed, the enclosure was tailor made to order in Duka’s sustainable factory and shipped to the UK within four weeks.

Said Shrez: “I chose the new acqua 5000 shower enclosure from Sealskin duka as a centrepiece to the room owing to its slimline, minimalist aesthetic. It’s a beautiful contrast to the more natural tile finishes that we have used and offers an excellent amount of showering space.

“Adding the wetroom element to the bathroom really does make it feel incredibly luxurious and the high quality of the Sealskin duka range is wonderful. We love the soft close action of the sliding door and the contemporary brushed nickel finish.”

The combination of the wetroom floor and acqua 5000 enclosure have really given this room makeover the wow-factor and made it feel incredibly luxurious. Mum and dad are over the moon with the results.”
